4Cast brand launch
We had the pleasure of working with cricket professionals Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer. The guys had fallen in love with gaming over the COVID-19 lockdown and wanted to channel this into gaming content creation. We helped them make this dream a reality by assisting in the creation and launch of their 4Cast brand.
The Challenge
Stuart, Ben and Jofra had been spending all of their time gaming over the lockdown period. They wanted to use gaming as a vehicle to connect more with their audience and bring them along the journey.
The three of them, alongside other partners, knew they could do this by launching an athlete gaming collective and producing content across a wide variety of socials.
But they needed a partner with unique experience of launching gaming campaigns and social media presences for top brands.
The Solution
Together we worked on launching their gaming brand 4Cast, which consisted of a number of social media channels, including: YouTube channel, Twitch channel, Instagram page, Twitter and TikTok.
We also supported the launch of a website and the provisional work in building a tournament series.
We put together a team to drive forward the launch, by creating the 4Cast branding and assets, short form content for social media, long form YouTube videos and a content strategy and creative ideas.
We also secured 2 key partnerships for 4Cast, including one with ACER Predator, who supplied all the required gaming tech and kit for the live streams. Our team used this kit and our production experience to manage the live broadcasts.
The Result
Our launch was a success, with our first few streams making it to the Twitch homepage and achieving 2k+ concurrent viewers each.
Our partnership with ACER allowed the brand to host a series of giveaways to give back to their fans and build engagement with their community.
The brand became well-respected in the gaming community, and the 4Cast team has since developed it into an athlete’s gaming and investment group.
