ACER PREDATOR INsagram growth
Acer UK reached out to Saulderson Media in June to support them in “Hacking the Instagram” as well as promoting their Predator Helios and Triton gaming laptops. We were tasked by ACER UK to help them fulfil their internal KPIs of achieving growth across their Predator UK Instagram page and other social channels.
The Challenge
Acer UK had a strict KPI to achieve certain follower growth on their Predator Gaming UK Instagram page by the end of the year. They wanted to use our skills at Saulderson Media to support them in "Hacking the Instagram" as well as promoting their new range of Predator Helios and Triton gaming laptops.
They wanted to use this campaign to get users excited about the ACER products and drive an influx of followers to the Instagram pages, where they were about to start their own organic social content and campaigns.
The Solution
Saulderson used two strategies as part of the campaign. We had influencers creatively integrate the laptops into authentic gaming content on their channel, showing their fans how they aided them in improving their gaming performance.
We also ran large-scale giveaways with the influencers to build that fan engagement and reward them with ACER Predator products.
We utilised a number of top influencers such as Talia Mar, Sharky, AJ Shabeel and MeatyMarley, to share the products to an audience of gamers and push the giveaway to a huge audience.
The Result
We smashed the target of an increase in 7,500 followers on the Instagram page by driving over 12,000 new followers. Alongside this, the influencer content received over 2 million views and drove over 7,000 click-throughs to the ACER product pages.
This campaign was one of the most high engagement campaigns in ACER history generating a 15% engagement rate and over 356k engagements across the content.
