Marvel rivals game launch
Saulderson partnered with NetEase Games to support their marketing and publishing efforts on the launch of the highly anticipated Marvel Rivals. We supported them by selecting influencers perfectly positioned to build positive sentiment around the game to attract new players and to entice players from competitor titles into picking it up and trying it for the first time.
The Challenge
We needed to come up with a strategy to support the release of the highly anticipated team-based shooter game and drive early players to the game.
We were tasked with using gaming influencers to show why Marvel Rivals is the best game to play right now and build a positive sentiment of the game.
The Solution
We worked with The Sidemen, The Boys Marley, and two top-tier Fortnite creators to attract players from other shooter game titles and get them to try out the game for the first time.
We utilised the 2 Fortnite creators to promote a partnership between Fortnite and Marvel Rivals.
Working with YepTheBoys, MoreSidemen and Marley we created dedicated videos showcasing the “Clone Rumble” team mode, encouraging groups of gamers to play together in a fun, no-strings gameplay mode, showing the diverse range of activities players can expect from the new title.
The Result
We earned five Dedicated YouTube videos created with boosting rights granted to the brand, along with short-form content and socials posts promoting the game.
The results were exceptional, especially from the Sidemen Meme Olympics challenge content, and earned the following stats:
